Having a weather alert device in the house and the same on your mobile phone makes for restless sleep. We had flood warnings all night long. I made coffee and then checked the rain gauge (5”).

We’re safe at home and I’m glad that I don’t have to drive anywhere this morning.

Apparently the vicinity near Dale Hollow Lake (TN, KY line) had some flooding around midnight…but I didn’t get much rain except on Saturday evening and Sunday when it rained near 1.5 inches.
Anyhow, no drought this year in my part of Kentucky, so no complaints if the rain missed the forecast.
