What is the difference in damage between OFM and Coddling Moth?

I’m pretty sure I’m going to lose what is left of my apricots to insect damage. Something is leaving maggots inside them. I didn’t have this problem last year so I didn’t think it would be an issue and the frost killed everything else on the trees except some dwarf apples so I didn’t pay a ton of attention.

I’m not sure if it is OFM or Coddling moth, and I’m having trouble telling the difference. The maggots seem all white. My fruit is currently golf ball/hand ball sized. It is also turning color so ripening isn’t that far away. I’m not sure when the damage started as I only noticed once fruit started dropping. I also didn’t notice any tip shoot problems earlier.

My first question is: do I need to care which one is the problem? Or will a future control handle both?

The second is: if the difference is important, how do I tell?

Inspect the maggots if you want to know which you have in your apricots.
