You must be excited! I certainly would be. Maybe frost will be like this past winter where I didn’t have enough cold to do in the green beans until January. (Actually, I hope it’s not like that.)
Do you know what varieties they are? Please fill me in on the details! How high from the ground are the bases of the fruit stalks? Did they all start about the same height? Pictures are terrible for showing such things. When did the others start sending out their stalks? From the first picture, it looks like these are planted next to the house. Did you over winter them in the ground? If your winter was anywhere near like ours, it was a great year to do that temperature wise. As far as precipitation went, only if they were in an area with excellent drainage.
Five stalks of bananas at once is going to be a lot. I hope you have plenty of friends! I’d be excited to see any of mine bloom, but at the same time I keep asking them to wait until next spring when they have an entire hot summer ahead of them to work on ripening.
