I used the ground soil after I removed the grass with no raised beds, and it was a constant battle of weeds and grass in the garden. When you use potting soil in raised beds or in a greenhouse is most of your weeding problem solved?

For me, you are generally good the first year unless your ammemded soil is already carrying seeds. Mulch helps for seeds dropped subsequent to filling the bed, but eventually you will need to do some weeding
