Where to get quince rootstock, fast

Any recommendations on where to get some rootstocks fast while my refrigerated scions still have some life/graftability left in them? About 85% of my quince rootstocks died (won’t be buying from there again). I’ve looked at One Green World and they aren’t shipped until 3-4 weeks after ordering. I’ve tried calling Cummins several times but no one has answered the phone.

Have you considered getting hawthorn as a substitute? Many of the state nurseries sell these and they work well as a rootstock for quince.

I’ve been looking for provence quince stock because it’s dwarfing. I’m just not knowledgeable enough on hawthorn to know it’s effects on the end size of the tree. I was finally able to locate some quince rootstock yesterday though. Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll have to do some reading!

I saw some provence for sale of e-bay. They are selling two trees for $20 and $8 shipping. Not sure if that helps you or not.

I bought two on eBay last year, maybe it was the same seller. They were not the highest quality but one of them made it and looks to put on good growth this year. It was the only source I could find which is why I tried it.
