Which persimmons fall from the tree vs. never fall and must be picked?

This question confused me as well. In its initial 3 years of bearing, my Prok had some seeded fruit. Except for my own IKKJs, which are not reported to bear male flowers, there were no other persimmons planted within ~3 miles (as far as I know) and probably no Americans within more than 5 miles. So either (1) Prok makes some male flowers; or (2) the seedling rootstock is male and sent up some suckers that produced a few flowers. As far as I know, nobody claims that Prok produces male flowers. So that left only one option.
