White Peach Scale Treatment

I have a bad infestation of White Peach Scale on multiple peach trees. From what I have read I need to spray them with Horticulture oil. Is there any issues spraying the whole tree with Horticultural oil? My trees have leafed and set fruit. I usually use Brandt Indicate 5, Captan, Immunox, Regalia and Permethrin or Imidan in my spray mic in the spring. Any issues putting Horticulture Oil in with this mix, or do I need to spray separately? I have about 60 trees to spray so I am hoping it can all be mixed together. Finally, I went through my chemicals and found a gallon of Monterey Horticultural oil that is likely 10 years old. Anyone know the shelf life of Horticultural Oil? Thanks in advance for any advice to my multiple questions.

So I take captan is a no: “Do not spray plants suffering from drought (moisture stress), Do not apply during periods of prolonged high temperature combined with high relative humidity Do not use this product with dimethoate, herbicides or fungicides such as Captan, Folpet, Dyrene, Karathene, Morestan or any product containing sulfur. Do not use with Sevin 50W formulation (carbaryl) on deciduous fruit trees. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Keep people and pets out of the area during application. Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.”

Hort oil that has been stored well and unopened should be good indefinitely. Even after opening the container, if it still looks good it should be fine.

As to mixing it with anything else I can’t help. But doing a small batch first and seeing how it mixes, sprays, and tree reaction would be a good idea.

Thank you Fruitnut!
