I’m in Slovakia this week at our plant. They have wild plum trees scattered all around the grounds. One is yellow and the other is red. I also have been given a purple variety. I have also seen apricot trees with small fruits. They are really nice for a wild fruit. Many locals collect the fruits to ferment and have it distilled.
There are no bug damage spots and the trees are loaded. Does the “wild” or old heirloom fruit trees have resistance to all the pests? A friend from our company has several fruit tress in his yard but he sprays to get a harvest.
