Will pomegranates that ripen at different time pollenate each other? Do their ripening times reflect their flowering time, or do they flower at the same time and pollinate each other?
Pomegranates are self-pollinating so you don’t have to worry about that.
I know pomegranates are self pollinating, but cross pollination can increase their yield, which is why I asked.
When they flower is what’s important for cross pollination, time from flowering to fruit ripening varies from variety to variety. Even if every variety you had flowered at the same exact time, they would not all fruit at the same exact time, besides growing them yourself and finding out for yourself it’s very hard to know what might match up for flowering time, in each location flowering time varies some vs other locations, flowering time varies some from year to year as well.
