I’m thinking too high of pH is causing my newly planted 5 gallon kaki trees to have yellow leaves? Before planting the leaves were green and there was a large root ball consistent
with the 5 gallon pot. I grafted the trees last year and they grew out 1-2 feet. Established trees have green leaves. They are planted in a raised mound sitting on a raised bed of sandy loam. First I tried watering with dilute solution of miracle grow. One tree not pictured promptly lost all it’s leaves and new branches. Mounded the newly planted trees with soil mix bought by the yard.
I just watered them with acidified water, 1 tablespoon of 74% phosphoric acid in 5 gallons of city water.
