About me: I live about 30 miles east of Birmingham Alabama in South St Clair County. Two other of my hobbies are graphite portraits and usta tennis. Although I’m an Auburn Grad, which is a traditional agriculture school, my major was in another area. My true love/interest is with plants such as fruit trees and to some degree gardening. I currently have a variety of apple and pear trees in my back yard and in pots. Unusual grafting is interesting to me. One of my apples trees has limbs of pears, and crabapples on the same tree. I have a large pear tree with five different varieties grafted with an emphasis on disease resistance.
