Fig filo twirls

Muffin pan, 2" filo dough strips coated with cream cheese and mashed figs, each rolled and placed into greased muffin socket, bake at 350° uncovered for 30 minutes and then 10 minutes more with foil cover. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after baking when warm (not hot).

Sounds easy and good. Did you sweeten the cream cheese

No, but used whipped for easy spreading. The figs are so sweet – I think I’ll leave off the powdered sugar next time.
