Of course, it’s all relative and there are advantages to a somewhat shorter lopper. Really the advice was for others who might be about to order a pair because the longer handled ones are harder to find and they might be unaware of their options.
Those Bahco loppers are very nice. The light weight is a nice advantage. For someone who doesn’t do a lot of pruning, so weight might not be a problem and wants to spend half the price this Corona is nice. It’s heavy duty and heavy at 2.8 lbs, 32 inches long. anyone with an ars have issues taking the blade off for sharpening? ive tried oiling the nut and also heating it with a torch and i cant get it to break loose.
For thirty years I have used a French pruner, a BAHCO PX-M2. I have tried many, and the BAHCO are the most comfortable in the hand. There are left handed models as well.
