I just released the girls into the yard today and they wasted no time getting to work.
I am growing these roses for the Rosehip fruit. They great smelling flowers are just a bonus.

ladies are always welcome in my orchards. I hate to think what the aphids and leafhoppers would do without them. I only wish the could they could eat Japanese Beetles and moths!
What are you doing with the rose hips?
nothing special, I will dry some for use in tea. If I get enough I might make some rose jelly or infuse vodka.
