I grafted apples trees last year using various scions to Bud118 rootstock. This year I have my 3’ tall whip. How would you recommend pruning for the initial first few years of growth. I’m thinking central leader. Anyone familiar with knip boom? Diagrams showing cuts would be helpful. Thanks.
