I bought 6 bags last month at Walmart. They are very good just like eating a fresh Hachiya at a firm stage. They removed the astringency with CO2 gas. I am still eating them right now.

Tony, if you know that that persimmon has a co2 treatment then maybe the persimmon is actuly a R/b. Size wise they sure look the same.
It could be RB. Hachiya most time had a pointed bottom end. BTW, what is your lowest temp. this year so far?
