In similar TN area and NOAA is saying 31 and widespread frost Wednesday morning.
I have blackberries flowering and Spicebush leafing/fruit set but more importantly pawpaws with some flowers, fruitlets, and leaflets.
Nothing I can do
It may be a radiation freeze (temperature inversion), so if you are on any kind of elevation you may be OK. Good luck!
@TrilobaTracker … they changed my forecast a bit. 37F tonight, 32F tomorrow (Wed) night.
I am consistently around 5 degrees warmer than what they say… here at our ridge top location. I am a little over 900 ft elevation… but you can go 1/4 mile in just about any direction and be at 700 ft elevation.
37F sounds a lot better than 32F. I hope that +5F trend continues.

Yeah I think I tend a bit warmer too but not sure exactly why - I am in a generally urban area and also on a bit of a hill come to think of it….
They were saying 37F this morning… at 5AM I have 43F.
It is pretty typical here for it to drop one more degree just as the sun rises.
Edit… add later. Sunrise at 6:35 and my two mercury thermometers on the back porch are showing 42F-43F.

Here is what I had for this morning. Hopefully minimal damage! And it’s possible that my weather station is a little off. It was a fairly cheap on. Weather out of St. Louis said that it didn’t dip below 28*.
Most of my stonefruit is in full bloom. Hit 30 last night but it felt mild. No frost on the grass or windows this am. Calling for 26 here tonight. That has me a tad worried!
I would be happy with only a slight dip below 32. Where i am it stays warmer when it snows than the following clear nights. Our temps dipped down to 25 after several weeks of really nice warm temps. Than we got a slight snow, more low temps. Now this week day time temps are over 80. Lol, living at 6000 ft.
Following up for the record here, it’s good I didn’t say never because I got nailed in this only-28F one. It was 28F but was below freezing for 5+ hours which is a very long time. Lack of wind also likely made it worse, the cold settles by the ground. I had damage on kiwi shoots, persimmons that had leafed out, and I think I lost all my apricots and probably some plums.
This freeze was unusual. Now 10 days after the freeze apricot fruits are starting to fall off. They turn yellow and drop off at a pretty big size. About 3/8 inch diameter. When cut open they look normal except for some yellowing on the skin of the seed. I can’t remember this happening before. Usually it’s instant death or they’re OK.
My buddy had a big crop. Now 95% are falling off. On my tree maybe 25% are falling off at this point.
