I gave my concoction a sip tonight. Darn tasty. Decided to mix an ounce or so over ice with the cider I made yesterday. I imagine a drink like that in a metropolitan area could easily run $15

Apparently apples will soak up a bunch of bourbon. I poured the jug of bourbon, cut up apples, vanilla beans, and cinnamon sticks through a sieve into a pitcher. Of the 2 quart jar, maybe a quart of booze came out. I threw the boozy apples in the freezer. I’m thinking I’ll use them for “ice cubes”.
Cut up some more apples and filled the mason jar back up.
