Any good pie crust with butter. Spray tart pan with Pam. Line the pan with the rolled out dough. Place apricots sliced side up, on the raw dough. Dot all apricots generously with butter. Sprinkle sugar (sugar amount depends upon your taste) over the apricots. Place in a pre-heated 350F oven for 40 minutes. Look in on the tart while it is baking. Remove when the sugar is bubbling and the crust is golden, not brown. Place a half cup of apricot or passion fruit jam in a small sauce pan and warm it, not boil it. Using a pastry brush, brush the jam over the apricots and dough. Let rest until cooled. Then eat! There will be be zero left!

My Puget Gold, Puget Died this spring. Looked like it tried to wake up then turned to brown sticks. Oh well. It never really did anything and I was about to move it to the hell strip… but it gave up instead.

Mrs.,
A few of my Orange Red, not as sweet as Ilona. They did not get much sun at all (on lowest branch of a nectarine tree). That probably contributed to a lack of flavor.

They look a little dry. Were they?

Abit dry but its the sweetness that was not there.

I think I’m going to take out one of my apricot trees. They’ve invaded each other’s space, and I got too much fruit this year. The aprium can polllinate.

Our apricots are not old enough to produce yet :frowning: all these pictures of delicious apricots are so encouraging :yum:

Had a nice first crop of Harogem. Hot and dry July. This first crop has small fruit with dry flesh, and are sun blushed with good flavor. Kids and I inhaled them.

Which one will you remove? And which will you keep?

They’re both Harglows - a mistake in the order. I’d remove the middle one, as it encroaches on the other one and on the cherry on its other side. I’ve already removed quite a bit of it.
