Bench grafting peaches

Can you get more details on this? I have bunch of Marianna plum rootstock scions that I very much like to have them rooted.

I just took dormant scion and stuck them in buckets around May 1st, (drill drainage holes) with potting soil on the bottom and sand on top. The buckets were on the North side of a building with limited sun. I treated half with rooting hormone and the other half were untreated. You can see from the picture half the bucket of pears has a different growth habit. I lost track of whether or not the cherries that took were treated.

Give it a try. It’s simple and might produce some nice trees.
