Cold hardy nuts for food (suburb, zone 6)

Not sure, if you can get it across the pond. I believe the hunt is still out for a cross with peach quality fruit and almond quality seed. Robijn is the latter.

Almond/peach hybrids have been sold in the U.S. for years. Stark sold one several years ago as an edible peach with edible pit. Given size constraints, my suggestions are persimmons and hazel nuts. Check Jt02, Morris Burton, and Mohler as possibles for your area.

Do you know if the hybrid was worth a try for fun (in case it makes it here)? Or is it one of those cases where you get 2 mediocre things in 1 good marketing package?

I got mine from Perfect Circle… they usually have things listed summer for fall shipping. England’s might have scionwood, but you’d have to look at their list (it’s a big pdf file on their website).
