We have Kidd’s Orange Red, and it hasn’t fruited yet for us, either, though our trees are still young (I think this was the third year since bench-grafting).
However, several sources describe it as being free-spurring and more precocious than average:
I have not particularly noticed anything unusual about the leaves, myself, but that may be on me.
