Got my Crimson Passion and Carmine Jewel wood from @galinas in 2018.
Carmine Jewel has fruited since last year. Nothing on passion so far. It is only one graft, I just leave it be.

Did you have success inducing back branching? I remember reading on the USask page that the Romance series doesn’t sprout well from heading cuts, and that thinning cuts are preferred. I’d be happy to be proven wrong.
It grows what looks like spurs but only leaves come out.
