Early Spring predicted, has anyone started vegetable seeds yet?

Drew, do you grow any green onions?
I found the easiest way to start them by buying 2 to 3 bundles of green leafy onions from your supermarket and eat the top and save about 4 " of the root ball and plant them in the ground. In a week then you get to harvest your own green onions. I just cut off the top and leave about 1 " above the ground and they regrow the whole summer. BTW, you can start any basil from cuttings also.
