As several of you predicted, all my in ground trees show at least a root sprout or two. My oldest Mt Etna (Takoma Violet) stands out with nearly zero die back up top from 7 degrees. Unfortunately its taste isn’t anything to write home about, even dead ripe. I have a nice potted Prosciutto Unk I rooted last year, may yank Takoma and plant Prosciutto, joining Adriatic JH and Battaglia Green as my favs, so far.
