I understand! I think my tastes run the gamut…there are very few flavors, very sour or highly sweet, that I do not enjoy. It is good to know about what is available to grow.

buckeye, if you like apples I am going to recommend some varieties that will not disappoint you.
I like stone fruit more than apples, but I admit that these varieties are spectacular:

  • Ambrosia
  • Story Inored
  • Crimson Crisp
  • Minneiska (Swee Tango)
  • Envi Scilate
  • Yazz Scifresh
  • Evelina
  • Fuji Zhen Aztec
  • Belchard Chantecler
  • Antares Dalimbel
  • Milwa Junami

I could go on since I have many good apples, but these are delicious and you can buy the vast majority in the United States.

I’m not sure, but I think we both have another Fuji mutation, which is the apple Fujion, obtained at the CIV of Rome , I think it’s a Fuji mutation, but I’m not 100% sure.
I’m very short on time, yesterday I should have started roasting pistachios and I couldn’t, we’ll see if I have time this afternoon.

You will see photographs of good apples
