I removed branches from near the base and now have a 3-trunked tree :slightly_smiling_face:

This year the flower buds are all the way out to the branch tips. I’m hoping they’ll set fruit in the next few years.

Last year, prior to the previous photo I cut this tree to 4’ leaving only 2 of the 4" caliper trunks. Within a few months it was sprouting new branches up and down the trunks. As of this week it was getting very wide so I pruned it up to allow passage around the tree. The height is now 10’, about 4’ short of last year’s pruning. Left and right in the foreground are plumeria leaves.

Looks very healthy. I killed my 2 small plants some time ago.

Have you gotten any fruit set yet?

Nope. It’s also developing into a monster tree.

I have one in ground for over 7 yrs, just skinny tall tree next to my large Brewster lychee. Still have not seen any flowers so I grafted a few Pace scions a few months ago.
