Help on 20th Century Asian Pear!

This is a 3 year old 20th Century Asian Pear. We bought it at 5-6’ tall, and it has grown very, very well here in the mountains of NC. A few weeks ago we noticed a limb with the leaves turning black and assumed it had been broken from the wind. Now, several limbs look this way. What is it, and how can I treat it?

I think it is getting fire blight. Asian pears are more susceptible to this disease.

This thread has good info about it.
