I ordered some bare root paw paws from them last year…veryy tiny, and struggled bad last year. Thats probably the last time Ill order bare root paw paws. They have a nice variety, so it stinks their plants are so tiny.
I’ve haven’t had any luck with bareroot pawpaws - the ones that survived hardly grew for years in the same row as pawpaws I bought in pots that grew like gangbusters. I think they really suffer when you sever their taproot.
I ordered one bareroot pawpaw from Shady Spring maybe 12 years ago. It was runted, stunted, tiny, worst quality tree I’ve ever bought.
