Wow…and I let a 4 foot tall by 4 foot wide Juliet die three years ago because I didn’t get it planted (nor watered). $65 at a going-out-of-business garden center sale. Guess it wasn’t a bargain if it didn’t live, though.
i have 6 cherries i ordered from HBUSA. i ordered the mid sized ones and a 4ft. romeo because i couldn’t see such small plants thriving and i want cherries!. i did by a lutowka polish cherry from them last spring . it was about the size of clarks. it survived so far but didn’t look so good before leaf fall. hopefully it makes it. i may regret buying it as it fruits later than the romance series does and if SWD shows, i may have to remove it. im impressed with how vigorous my other ones are. they truly are a cold hardy , no maintenance cherry! so far they weathered -38f 2 winters ago with no damage. hopefully i get some suckers to expand my plantings.
