How do I plant this blackberry bush? PICS!

@Drew51, Yes I know exactly what green stakes you are talking about. We used a mess of them years ago to make a fence. I do grow tomatoes in containers, hence the round wire cages :slight_smile:

Grew some raspberry plants years ago in a very cold climate and they didn’t do that well, so wasn’t expecting this to become a monster. We shall see. Hopefully will get some nice “after” pics.

What’s cool about blackberries is they are fast, two years, yours will be looking like that if all goes well. If you want to add more in the future, let me know. Today I’m mailing out a wild yellow black raspberry tip root, and tip roots of Marionberry. All out of tip roots. I threw out 10 this year. Blackberries are not created equal, the flavor range is extensive.

Ok, will do, thanks. Up in Northern NY where we’re from, there were wild yellow raspberries…very sweet.

Yellows are my favorites, these are actually black raspberries. Most yellows are mutations of reds.
