Finally getting warm. 60’s -70’s today and going forward.
You’d have to escape by boat. Probably the only way to get some distance between you and the masses is to head out into open water.
50F here…34F tonite. Plants all coming back in. They’ve been out the last couple days.
It would appear we make a run at 70F on Monday or Tues (or both). Who knows.
We made that run yesterday but fell short
Hit 75 today…rest of the Bradfords’ opened up today.
NWS has 70F monday but with lots of wind. Low 50Fs for highs until then.
Grass is greening in many areas.
6 days of 65+ weather and now a low of 19 a week from now… having flashbacks of last year again.
It’s looking like a freeze at the end of the month
I’d like to know what’s projected for April
This cover 4/3 to 4/10–which suggest some impressive warmth in the mid parts of the country//but most of the us looks mild/warm…but but but…there is almost a flip to cooler conditions, so if we do get too warm, start looking for that hard freeze.
Looks like frost possibly 3/29 and 3/31 and freeze possible 4/1 and 4/2 here…then the major warmth as depicted in above map.
4/3 through 4/10 will bring out the apple blooms here. Just a little early…4/6 to 4/20 is about normal.
But the last 3 years, we’ve had much later freeze
Heavy rain here today…with thunder and lightning. Our possible Nor’easter for Sun is turning into a Southeaster with rain…thankfully! Strong NW winds (once again) coming Monday.
snow mix up here with 1-3in tonight and another 1-3 mon. with temps as high as they are, it wont stick around long. my lawn is a ft. deep lake right now. ducks are in heaven. woke to 12 eggs layed all over the lawn.
I had frogs on the driveway and heard peepers tonight…that’s a first for me in March!
Crap, a low of 27 on Thursday! Oh no, not again.
Soon summer will set in. These cold fronts will have less and less punch especially far south. I see Phoenix is going to see their first 90Fs of the season.
Today looked warmer then it felt. Nice and sunny, but the wind was chilly…low 50Fs.
The Mistral has finally stopped, 12 days later. It is overcast with passing shower, then bright blue Provençale sky. Warming daily 60-70’s and warm. Feels good. Today is Marche day, perfect weather for the new white asparagus!
27 is not 18…but it probably will kill things in bloom at the moment. Same here. I have a spot warmer than nearby areas, but it didnt’ help any last year.
Calling for 26-29 late next week, so my big pear that’s about to be in full bloom will be in a bit of danger. Most apples are at 1/2 inch green, peaches almost at first pink, so hope they hold off a bit longer. The thing abt a 26 degree forecast is that it coukd range from 21-32 at my place.
its like were a full month ahead. last night the yard was mostly snow free except banks. woke to 2in. of snow this morning but the warm temps will melt it quickly.
