It could technically be Indian Summer here now. The frost we had earlier didn’t seem to hit any plants, but I now see the Virginia Creeper all red and dying back, so that counts.

We’ve been flirting with a first frost for the last few weeks. At the community garden plot about a mile away, we had three frosts in a row about 2 weeks ago. Everything tender at the house is still going strong. It’s amazing how much difference a site can make!

85F yesterday… the park last night was as busy as ever. Probably haven’t seen that amount of people since this summer. That i would imagine will be it for warm days.

The extended after early next week shows no warmth :frowning: Very late october looking (50Fs/maybe low 60s for highs)>…good chance at frosts/freezes.

Feh - rain from cold front fizzling out

Very nice stretch of weather is coming to a quick end. By late week highs in the 40Fs. Picking the last tomatoes and going to end the garden this week. Bring everything i need to inside.

Half inch of rain this morning. Weird obs overnight. The temp rose to 71F at 4am (strong south winds…wonder if we tapped some of the heat from the hurricane). Now the temp is 53F.

Fall color must be about peak here. Pretty good display of colors yesterday.
