Jujubes on own roots - what are the variety options?

i should have asked him before he passed but didn’t want to sound accusatory, lol Forgot to add that the silverhill took off like any other juju when grafted on younger rootstock. Could have been just some malady afflicting the roots if they were actual rootstoc grafts.

Keep in mind that JF&E doesn’t currently have any Winter Delight (Mango Dong) in stock. When I spoke to them a few months ago, it sounded like they may have more varieties ready in the spring, but they were too small to sell at the time. I asked to be notified and am thinking about getting an Autumn Beauty and/or a Sihong on their own roots. I did get Sugar Cane and Honey Jar before they ran out.

Autumn Beauty is awesome here, one of my top 3 every year. Large, barrel shaped, early fruit with a very nice flavor.

autumn b seems to like vegas conditions too. Quite precocious here despite having been grafted relatively late when it was already 110’s
