Krymsk1?

Yeah that sounds more right. My superior has been grafted on for a few years now and is still a pretty short stick of wood. Never put all your eggs in one basket.

Here’s that Superior. Bench grafted Spring 2020 using @Barkslip Dax’s method.

Is that the mega chip Tom? Hell of a tree.

That makes sense that it should work, but mine has put on very little growth. Maybe it got stunted somehow. Pluots do great on k1. I grafted shaa kar pareh (white apricot) to it last year and that has put on plenty of growth. I’m going to move things around and chain saw them :hocho:

Hi Stan,
I came across this old post searching for information about Serafin apricot. We had scions of it at the Redwood Empire CRFG scion exchange and it was added to our list of apricots to propagate for our annual plant sale. My usual sources have not been helpful. I assume it is a Blenheim sport but is there anything special about it for me to mention to prospective plant buyers?

I’m in Sebastopol. Not apricot country - bacterial canker tends to wipe them out. But my wife is from the East Bay and apricots are her favorite fruit so I keep trying I have a 20+ year old Derby Royal that keeps hanging on and gives us an occasional crop.
