Mushroom growers, question for you!

Silky Rosegill. Extremely rare. Kinda portobello x oyster flavored to me. They can grow on wood and also garden beds.

my morel experiment is in- all ash, charcoal leavings and burnt materials mixture into the top inch of dirt, then the spawn (sawdust spawn from north spore), then wood chip to top with some dry husk stuff on top of that for winter. it’s like very hard straw not sure what the material is but it’ll keep it damp into winter.

I also put in blue oyster in one bed on a whim, slugs tend to take any soft mushrooms here but I figured it was worth a try. I do not know if those will return in spring

spread my current mycelium of winecap into a new bed and added a new bag of spore to another. those have done well here now over winter so I anticipate a lot in spring. maybe even a few extra this fall
