I haven’t and I don’t yet have trees producing that squirrels or raccoon care about, but I wonder how different the fabric on these and the zip up or synch covers are from insect row fabric. I bought a bunch of 30’ row covers 1-2 years ago for relatively little cost and had been planning on just cutting and sewing if necessary to make covers at 1/3-1/4 the cost of the ones designated for fruit trees. Untested. Just an idea.
Having a solid ring on the net is a nice idea to help installation.
The net material looks like something a squirrel could make a hole in.
And squirrels are our biggest problem. Sigh.
