The Wildlife Group also has the Orient pear which is a hybrid and is very resistant to fireblight as well. I was able to sample the fruit and it is superb. They had another Asian pear that would not be ready until mid October, but I tried an immature fruit and it was pretty good. I don’t recall the name but it has very large fruit and I had never heard of it before. They focus on selling blight resistant pears.
