My maypop has colonized the area I had hoped it would. Hasn’t spread into the hottest/most surrounded as much as I had hoped, but it’s making progress.
Not really sure what to do with the fruit, though.
My Maypop did very well this year and I was able to harvest a half dozen or so that ripened enough to be tasty.
The fruit never really changed color, for some reason I was under the impression they would be golden when ripe.
Flavor was as good as a tropical passion fruit, though the Aries within didn’t fill the fruit as well as the tropical ones seem to. Seeds were hard but not as dark as the tropical varieties.
