seems like sunflower is very barely self fertile form some studies that KSU had, and then redfern claims sundog is.
There was also a rreally know it all arborist on reddit insisting all of them are but just arent because all the flowers bloom in flushes and you never have male and female flowers at the same time. but thats… not right so idk what he was on about. a lot of people agreed with him though.
