The USA is different from other places in the world when discussing yellowing leaves. Try to dig a hole right beside the pear see if there is standing water. Water related issues are tge #1 cause of yellowing leaves this time of year. If it was October or November leaves yellowing to end the season and drop would be normal. There can be nutrient problems which are rare and often times still water related. Diseases like scab or pests like scab can be the cause of the issue.
