There’s an interesting study out regarding the genetic basis of differential timing of male and female flowering (heterodichogamy) documenting different genetic systems in walnuts/hickories and pecans to promote outcrossing.

Fred has two different Pounds #2 trees but only one of them cracks out really well(the one next to Hays). Very interesting.

I found a source for Seneca pecan. Not saying anything yet, but if I can get a few scions, I’ll post about it here.
