I was quite impressed by my first couple of Black Ice plums this summer. It fruited after only a year in the ground, and I found the flavor right up there with my other top plum/pluots such as flavor supreme, flavor king, and elephant heart.
I am in a very different climate than yours though, 9b Southern Gulf Islands, Canada.
