Temperatures are finally in the 60s and lower 70s. Bees everywhere for the first time this year. Apples are still flowering. Today I discovered a few tiny Peaches on Redhaven and 2 Cherries on Lapin. Those few survived the freeze damage.

It looks like I have a few peaches too, and my cherries are fine. A good cherry year, yeah!
It’s light frost this morning. Temp said 37 F but it felt colder last night and early morning even in the house.
It’s ridiculous.

Hey it was 44 here this morning and I’ve got sweetcorn past pollination. It’s supposed to be 88 this afternoon.
It will only goes up to 69 F today. You win, Fruitnut

Your weather is not nice this year. My Zone 5 somehow got lucky with good weather this year. We got rained again and the overnight low was 60F.

Thanks but gyrating temperatures isn’t something most people want to win. We were frozen out again on stone fruit for the fourth straight yr. I’ve literally survived freeze and hail damage hundreds of times in west Texas. Most people would have given up long ago.

The weather here has misbehaved big time this year. We just finished with raining for 8 straight days, some days, it rained all day. My friend and I were thinking that this was England or New England 
The rain stopped this past Sun, and Monday night/last night, it’s frost. I am tired of dragging my tropical plants in and out the garage.
You have a much better year weather-wise in Nebraska, Tony. It’s time to to import fruit from NE

Our lows here are only in the very high forties. Do you have the same?

I am pretty numbed by this year’s weather now. Regardless, I am off to Vegas, all plants are on their own 
A very narrow range for the last two weeks. Lows 40s highs 50s. Now mid 40s night and 60s to low 70s days.
Vegas would be a great place to grow stonefruit.
Just a vocation. Maybe I should move there when I am retired

Sure, If you let me adopt one of your daughters, then we are related . I am looking forward to the trip to Vegas, have not been there for a while. And travel through Grand canyon, Bryce canyon, horseshoe bend… Just got a 300mm lens for this trip.
