Thank you, did not know that. Is that for mature trees or any that is taller than X?
Wow, not sure I’m brave enough to whack the top off, although I did something similar to an apple tree and it’s doing really well.
If I did top it would I use a straight cut or angled?

For standard training of pit and pome fruit trees.
BTW, it’s your option to mix and match my suggested cuts with others mentioned here but I don’t recommend it.

Almost flat but not quite…just a little higher on the side having the bud you’ve chosen closest to the top that you hope to make the next Leader. (And do it a half inch or 3/4 above the bud you’ve chosen).
