Question the History of a pear or know some history? Post it here!

I’m past the point of wanting a variety based on history. I am currently working on filling gaps in maturity. My earliest maturing pear is currently in early August. I want a few varieties that mature in June/July. Then I want a few more varieties that mature in November and December and I want a few more that can be stored 6 to 8 months. The logic is simple. I want fresh pears to eat for at least 9 months of the year.

I have heard of it and it is available in the USA. It is very rare here. It is in the Corvallis collection.
