Just a tip, not about the rabbits but for the pictures, for small things that the camera auto-focus has trouble seeing, if you put your hand out behind the object with your palm open it usually is enough to get the camera to focus correctly. And it just looks like you’re holding the item so it doesn’t look weird.

if i was you guys that cant trap/ shoot them id put out cat food somewhere elevated that the coons can’t get and draw in as many feral cats as you can.
Of course you know better your local wilderness animals but here UpState NY exactly same and even worst damage done by porcupines and no “peaceful” remedies for such a problem except … you know. They chew everything at night
and voles!
