How did you get the seeds from the fruit?
I sliced off the outsides without seeds and ate that part and then spooned the seeds off the central bit. I let them ferment for several days to loosen the pulp.
Here’s a picture of some of them growing, the big ones are the lucky few from the earlier attempts.

I have yet to see Ruby Red fruit anywhere, although I have not really tried finding them. There are studies showing that Actinidia seeds need light for germination, so I always sow them on the surface and just sprinkle some fine sand to partially cover them.

whole foods had them for awhile, not sure if theyre still around
