How did you get the seeds from the fruit?
I sliced off the outsides without seeds and ate that part and then spooned the seeds off the central bit. I let them ferment for several days to loosen the pulp.
Here’s a picture of some of them growing, the big ones are the lucky few from the earlier attempts.

I have yet to see Ruby Red fruit anywhere, although I have not really tried finding them. There are studies showing that Actinidia seeds need light for germination, so I always sow them on the surface and just sprinkle some fine sand to partially cover them.

whole foods had them for awhile, not sure if theyre still around
Here’s my current Ruby Reds.. I lost a bunch probably to sloppy watering but I still have 16 left.
I am noticing that some have red tinges on the edges of their leaves and some don’t, perhaps that is an indication of what the fruit will be like. I know this is true on peaches where the red-fleshed peaches have more red in the peach leaves.
