Short stalked sweet corn varieties

Thanks for the discussion of fertilizing. I usually use lawn fertilizer but would rather use fish emulsion or blood meal.

I can also vouch for Ambrosia. I wait until June to plant it soil is warmed. It ripens for me in September. I get Trinity a month or more earlier, so it works out well. I plant every two to three weeks, starting mid May with early, fast ripening cool soil tolerant varieties and ending with slow, longer season more warm soil requiring. That works in my cooler climate.
