Some of the collectors have the room to plant them in ground. Like Eric and Doug have hundreds in ground and Doug pretty much keeps it local. Eric posts his thoughts on them. I find his input extremely useful for what i wish to try. Ourfigs is great because they get into the “are they worth it” questions, and again very useful info. Many premiums are not perfect and it’s good to know what is what.
I have enough rare figs where I would never buy them. Well I will buy if under 50 bucks. Otherwise I will trade for them. So each new plant costs me postage to send one for it.
So I guess I’m kinda immune to the price. Current going price is no concern to me.
